The unscented Louis Widmer Sun Protection Face is both sun protection and day care. The combination of UVA, UVB and broadband filters ensures a very high level of protection. Overall, it is a moisturizing anti-ageing sun cream for the facial skin and sensitive eye area. The cream is quickly absorbed after application, is non-oily and makes the skin feel pleasantly soft and smooth.
The vitamin E contained in the cream protects against free radicals and reduces premature skin ageing and skin damage caused by UV radiation. It also stimulates the skin's own repair mechanisms and helps to regenerate the skin barrier. This smoothes the skin texture and improves the water-binding capacity of the horny layer.
The sun cream also contains panthenol and L-arginine, an amino acid. These soothe irritated skin and improve its moisture retention capacity. Matrixyl® 3000, an anti-wrinkle active ingredient, is a fragment of natural collagen, supports the skin's own moisture regulation and thus increases the skin's elasticity. It also stimulates the skin's natural repair mechanisms. The skin structure becomes firmer and more voluminous. It fills in unevenness and wrinkles are filled in from the inside and visibly reduces them. The sun cream contains RonaCare® AP with Advanced Photoprotection, an efficient antioxidant, which offers a triple protection mechanism: When exposed to UV rays, it reduces oxidative stress, prevents the formation of reactive oxygen species and builds up UV protection. Apply Sun Protection Face 50+ about 30 minutes before exposure to the sun. Sun cream should be used in sufficient quantity. Only in this way can the optimal protective effect be developed.
After a longer stay in water or sand, the sun protection should be applied again to maintain the sun protection. However, the maximum duration of stay in the sun, which depends on the respective skin type, cannot be prolonged by repeated application of the sun protection.
